Pizzeria Paradiso opens 5th restaurant in Spring Valley, Washington, D.C.

Pizzeria Paradiso will open its fifth location in the Washington, D.C. neighborhood of Spring Valley Monday, December 3. The new restaurant, open at 11 a.m., will follow in the chain’s storied tradition of Neapolitan-style pizza and is Ruth Gresser’s latest pizza venue. Beverage Director Drew McCormick brings a beer program that will be front and center at the new Spring Valley Pizzeria Paradiso, with 14 rotating taps and a sizable selection of bottled beers. The 179-unit restaurant will boast a beer program that includes two options from six of D.C.’s breweries, and also a cider offering.

Beer selections include:

  • Brau Pils and Sugar Leaf Hazy IPA from DC Brau,
  • Barch 500 and Lovely Nomad from Atlas Brew Works,
  • Corn Rigs and Barley and Raised by Wolves from Right Proper Brewing Company,
  • Farmhouse Saison and Ruby, My Dear from Mad Fox Brewing Company,
  • Southern Belle and ‘Bout That Life from 3 Stars Brewing Company, and
  • Red Line and Double Chazzwazzer from Hellbender Brewing.

At opening, ciders being offered are Greening from ANXO and Touch of Wisdom from Supreme Core.

While chilling with some of these special brews, guests can get down with the games there because the restaurant will feature two pinball machines, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Simpsons, in addition to two video game machines. ArtWorks art from children at the partner organization and a custom mural will adorn the walls of the new Spring Valley Pizzeria Paradiso. The restaurant will also feature fan faves, including the Marguerita and Quattro Formaggi.

Check out the Atomica Pizza, made with Paradiso tomato sauce, salami, Kalamata olives, hot pepper flakes and mozzarella, and the Di Mare, which is topped with spicy garlic pesto, mussels, shrimp, spinach, red onions, and grana Padano. The Paesana with spicy garlic pesto, housemade chicken sausage, sweet red peppers, roasted escarole, broccoli rabe, mozzarella and ricotta, is sure to be yet another hit on the Spring Valley Pizzeria Paradiso menu.

Pizzas are priced at $12-$15 for a 9-inch and $18-$21 for a 12-inch. Operating hours will be Sunday – Thursday 11:00 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Friday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, the bar closes at 12 a.m.
