Spin debuts weekend brunch with ping pong pro, DJ

Spin DC guests will indulge on shortcake waffles, chilaquitos, plantains

Spinc DC launched brunch this weekend. The ping pong social club in the National Press Bulding will be serving up brunch from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sundays. Brunch at Spin includes an onsite professional who helps guests with tips to improve their ping pong game and a DJ. Spin also offers all-day Sunday ping pong for $8.

Spin DC weekend brunch

Guests will gravitate toward all-star items on the brunch menu:

  • Bacon, Egg and Cheese—toasted brioche and candied bacon ($12)
  • Stuffed Plantain—plantains, mushroom, romesco, cotija cheese, pickled onions and cilantro ($12)
  • Chilequitos—carnitas, salsa verde, roasted tomato, pickled onions, cotija cheese and radishes ($14)

Spin DC also serves strawberry shortcake waffles as part of the brunch menu. Additionally, bottomless drinks are a Spin-fan fave at $25 per person. Guests also enjoy special pricing on bloody marys and mimosas at $7 per drink. Spin is a polished chain of ping pong parlors founded and backed by Susan Sarandon, an Academy Award-winning actress.
