Cherry, Blueberry, Lemonade reflect on summer season

Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken has released its new flavors for August. These will be available at the Falls Church store and in the Downtown Washington, D.C. location. The medley calls out the flavors of summer, as well as pays tribute to National S’mores Day. Astro Doughnuts will feature Chocolate S’mores, Cherry Pie, Blueberry Cotton Candy, and Lemonade Poppy Seed.

  • Chocolate S’mores Cake Doughnut combines bittersweet chocolate glaze, graham cracker crumble, and toasted marshmallow. The release comes ahead of National S’mores day August 10 ($3.60).
  • Astro stuffs the Cherry Pie Doughnut Pillow with cherry compote and tops it with a tart, red cherry glaze, pie crust crumble, and powdered sugar dusting ($3.75).
  • Blueberry Cotton Candy combines blue cotton candy glaze, blueberry drizzle, and blue sugar sprinkles ($3.50).
  • The Lemonade Poppy Seed is a real treat, finished off with lemonade glaze and poppy seed sprinkles ($3.50).
