Mess Hall in Washington, D.C. is hosting a class on “Demystifying Amaro” September 10. The instructor is Jonathan Fasano of Don Ciccio & Figli. Expect to learn from this master of ameri all you need to know to know about the history of the liqueur while sampling.

The curated amaro tasting is sure to be a unique experience. It’s a sensual tour of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Through the use of botanicals, class attendees will mix their own creations. During the class, sip amaro paired with cheese, charcuterie and other snacks.
