Ballston’s The Waycroft brings latest in luxury living to Arlington
Pre-leasing began at The Waycroft luxury apartment residences, which debut in spring 2020. Developer Saul Centers created three separate buildings in a community that will boast 491 apartments. One- and two-bedroom townhomes with separate entrances are also part of the Waycroft community. The building stands prominently at the intersection of Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard. Floor plans range from studios to three-bedroom units.
There are two types of finishes available, defined by the look of the kitchen. The more traditional Woodford, with cabinets in a medium-wood finish, a more, modern interpretation—the Blake—with pendant lighting and wood-toned cabinetry, and the modern Hayes, with white cabinetry.
The Waycroft apartments are inspired by art deco design and angular placement. The three buildings are connected via their interior. In addition, street-level retail and its proximity to the Ballston Metro station and Ballston Quarter make the community a convenient place to call home. A 40,000 square-foot Target, CVS Pharmacy and Silver Diner have all signed onto the project.
Saul Centers announced an optometrist, rental car agency, nail salon, and kabob eatery will be joining the retail and convenience options at the base of the apartment community, as well.
Also, The Waycroft features a full-size rooftop pool and courtyard, with fire pits, grills and seating. A fitness room, game center and chef’s kitchen are also part of the amenities package. There’s also an interior courtyard, as well. Residents in the three buildings will share a business center, library and resident lounge.
