MetroCooking DC, a diverse market for holiday feasts, shopping

Vendors deliver on trendy, tasty, creative items

MetroCooking DC has begun. Dozens of food and drink vendors, in addition to cooking and holiday product purveyors, have set up shop. Creative products from nearby and across the globe are great for attendees working on their holiday season shopping lists. MetroCooking DC is a celebration of food and cooking. And complex flavors, all-natural and organic products are definitely trending. Locally-sourced, regional and globally-inspired are also keywords coming to your pantry.

Firefly Farms

There are a dozen tasty treats at Firefly Farms. Their products range from artisanal cheese to curated meats, crackers and fresh bread. Stop by Booth 809. And try the cheese. You’ll thank us later.

Corine’s Cuisine

Corine’s specializes in dressings that take your cooking and holiday preparations to the next level. Check out their delicious dressings, including sauce No. 23: Fresh, Hot Pepper, Garlic & Turmeric Sauce. There are a ton of sauces with flexibility that will inspire new recipes and ideas. Corine’s is located in booth 1107.

The Bang Shack

The Chicken, meat and veggie cheese dips from The Bang Shack are world famous, according to owner Jason Hadley. You’ll be impressed with the kick and flavor these dips have. The team is keeping product moving at booth 913.

Fruitive

The Fruitive is selling its glass-jar-based cold-pressed juices at booth 927. There’s a selection of different, creative flavors to try. The juice company has a few stores in the area. One is located in the City Center and it also has a Dupont Circle location.

Meat Crafters

Who’s got the meat? Curated meats are well-stocked and ready to sample and take home at booth 1326. Meat Crafters are based in Hyattsville, Md. and have a plant in Landover. They specialize in locally-sourced meats with fresh spices and seasonal blends. Check out the product near the BBQ Bash and Beer Wine and Spirts Pavilions.
