RAMW announces RAMMYS 2020, award nominations

Awards honor excellence in Washington, D.C.’s restaurant industry

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), the leading advocacy group for restaurants in the nation’s capital, will host the 2020 RAMMY Awards July 26. In partnership with Events DC, RAMW hosts a party like no other, and an Awards Gala that is dedicated to the best in Washington, D.C.’s restaurant scene. The black-tie event is one to remember. Twenty potential award categories will celebrate excellence in the restaurant industry.

RAMW will accept nominations for the 2020 RAMMYS in January. “The July 26th RAMMYS will be, as always, a perfect way to showcase all of the incredible chefs and restaurants and throw them a celebration to remember!” Kathy E. Hollinger, President and CEO of RAMW.

The 2020 RAMMYS, which is in its 38th year, takes place at the Walter E. Convention Center starting at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., an Awards Ceremony will honor excellence among D.C.’s restaurateurs, artisans, culinary professionals, and industry leaders. At 7 p.m., in a celebration like no other, a dinner & party kicks off with music, cut-above food and drinks.
