Astro Doughnuts has released its August seasonal selections. The August flavors are an explosion of color, with the addition of the Sangria doughnut, Banana Guava Smoothie, Chocolate Mochachino, and Key Lime Pie. The Sangria doughnut is topped with a fruity red wine sangria glaze that has a touch of orange and brandy... Key Lime Pie doughnut for $3.50. This creative endeavour has key lime curd filling and is topped with a lime cream cheese glaze.
Fine-casual Chiko, fusing Chinese and Korean dishes with upscale creativity, will be hosting its After Dark Series with an event July 20, 2018. Featured special guests are Chef Adam Greenberg and Bartender Brandon Langley of the upcoming Coconut Club in D.C ... The special menu starts at 9:30 p.m. Chiko’s Eat the Menu kitchen counter tasting opens promptly up at 10:30 p.m., priced at $50.
Summer Restaurant Week 2018 in Washington, D.C. is just around the corner. Sponsored by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, the event is being held August 13-19. Restaurant Week enables customers to sample dishes from restaurants they might not normally patronize... lunch will be served for $22 and dinner is being served for $35. When served, brunch will be priced at $22.
Summer is here and Georgian restaurant Supra has opened up its 40-seat patio and is debuting a new summer menu featuring produce from Path Valley Farms. Supra, offerings including the Satatsuri Salad, Roasted Vegetables Saidumio, Soup Tsivi. Summer dishes include the Pkhali, Chicken Makvalshi, a half chicken with blackberry sauce, and Beef Tarkhunit.
