The French-Mediterranean concept from the founders of fast-casual CAVA and Cava Mezze should be opening by September at Pike and Rose. Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Dimitri Moshovitis—the same three innovators who founded the CAVA and Cava Mezze concepts—are launching Julii. Their new project, Julii, is a sit-down restaurant and the CAVA founders have hired Sasha Felikson of Doi Moi fame as executive chef.
One such chef is Sasha Felikson, a finalist for the 2017 Rising Culinary Star of the Year Award at the RAMMYS. As the executive chef of Doi Moi, his energy and passion for serving great food and tapping into global inspiration is well known and unrelenting. Felikson helped open Menu MBK in Penn Quarter. Sasha Felikson is now headed to Julii, a French-Mediterranean concept created by the founders of the popular fast-casual CAVA chain.
